Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Roadie. By accessing the platform you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Roadie.
1. Eligibility & access
Roadie is invite-only and intended for working professionals 18 or older. Access may require approval, and we may decline or revoke it at our discretion.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. What Roadie is
Roadie is a marketplace that connects planners with crew. Except where expressly stated, Roadie is not the employer of crew, not a party to bookings between users, and does not guarantee any engagement or outcome.
4. Trust, vetting & no off-platform circumvention
Roadie vets the people on the platform but does not guarantee any individual’s conduct or qualifications. To protect the network, you agree not to use the platform to solicit or move bookings, payments, or contact off Roadie. Sharing contact details to circumvent the platform, or repeated attempts to do so, may result in suspension.
5. Bookings & payments
Bookings and payments are handled through the platform (payments via Stripe). Agreed amounts are captured at confirmation. Platform fees, holds, payouts, refunds, and disputes are governed by the terms presented at the time of each transaction.
6. Your content
You retain rights to content you submit (profiles, messages, documents) and grant Roadie a license to host and use it to operate the service. Don’t upload content you don’t have the rights to.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the platform: no unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or infringing activity; no scraping, reverse-engineering, or circumventing security or rate limits.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes between users.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Roadie against claims arising from your use of the platform or your breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the platform and its users.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified at launch (to be finalized), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
